Blues n Reds n Contingency Plan

Oh well.. Everyone is getting all panicky about people who received calls from NTU for interviews. Yes, i was one of those who panicky, worried and scared to hell.. Sigh, like wad Jade said, we can only control what we can control. For things that we cant, lets just all wait and see. There isnt any other routes where we can take, other than WAIT. Waiting for excitement or blues. I dont know.

Hmmmm...i think im so worried that im beyond worried already. Gathering and bundling all those negative emotions, im ready to start planning for the Contingency Plan.

Lets See..

I want to get to NTU Business. Thats definitely the best route i can have.
S- 3 yrs program. direct honors. Mad Paper Chase. Packed n Compressed to hell. Honing my analytical skills to chun out analysis within time limit. Equipping myself with soft skills with project works. Global Immersion Prog. Giving me a new set of eyes. What i learnt about myself is that, i love a packed lifestyle. Gimme something to do every waking moment and i will be happy. That is, if i know wad to look forward to at the end of the day.
W- i may not be able to get inside. due to the freakin fabulous results that the whole bloody cohort seems to have. the only flaw i can see is that the coursework may be more stiffy than SMU's open approach.
O- Toursim. I strived under stress. (if im in the right set of mind and goals) Marketing. Will take this as a 2nd route. Banking and Finance if i cant resist the lure of BIG MONEY.
T- I may not get inside Tourism. Which is the main bulk of the reason i wanna get inside NTU Bus.

Now, back to Contingency Plan.

1. Boss' Route. Part time Degree.
S- Gaining Experience while i work at the same time. Freedom to manage my own coursework.
W- I may not have as much perserverance as Boss to hold on to 5 yrs of working and studying. Do i have the extreme tenacity to do so? Parents may be against it.
O- Tourism n Hospitality favours individuals with hands on experience
T- Giving up halfway means that i end up with nothing. Wasting time, lots of money and parents' disappointment. Not to mention my own disgrace.

2. Go to Switzerland. Board and Lodging 3 yr degree
S- Fabulous experience. New Set of eyes. Culture. Intl' recognised degree. Prestige of Swiss hospitality education which will open many doors for me.
W- No money. Local banks dont offer loans for overseas degree
O- Passport to work in hotels. resorts. all over the world!!!
T- Leaving family. friends. him. Coming back a changed person.

3. Private Uni.
S- No choice.
W- $$$$$.
O- cant see any
T- waste money. time.

4. Taking up any course that the uni offers.
S- At least i get to a uni.
W-No passion. No fire. No interest. Dont know what im doing there.
O- A cert to open some doors. Going along with fate
T- Waste time. money. motivation.
