Sneaked up!
Officially outta job for a week or so.
:) Spent a lovely week with Wee, since he happened to have a block leave from the army right after im unemployed. Neat timing!
Let's See.. What have i done the past week.
1) Sentosa on a Monday, and on Saturday again.
ok fine, i love that place okay? I really do. So much so i wanna have a chalet there for like the longest time (since we graduate from JC) and nobody wanna go with me. Boohoo.
2) Watched Deathproof. So much expectations. So little satisfaction.
3) New Shoes! :) Red nautical stripes Flats for college
4) I GOT INTO FASS!!!!! MY APPEAL SUCCEEDED!! THE LAST 50 SEATS WHERE 600~700 WERE FIGHTING FOR!!! IM GOING TO NUS!!!
(yawen! i did it! I did it!)
5) i was so happy when i got the call from my mom saying that we received the post, that i gave one BIG smooch to Wee standing next to me. (we jus reached Sentosa, after shopping at vivo. told u its a Magical Place!!!) and we went straight to 7/11 and brought Vodka, Heineken and Chardonnay. :D shouldnt have bought all 3 at the same time cos warm vodka tastes plain disgusting, folks.
6) i didnt get drunk okay? 2/3 of the stash were downed by a very happy me. im a good drinker. :)
7) i went to Sungei Buloh for some guiding, after 3 non-activity years in nature guiding! Actually thought of squirming out the night before, but tot of poor rudy handling it alone. and man, aint i glad i went. 400 KIDS!!! WAD?! hiak, there were 2 sessions of 2 guides each. but i only took 1 round, cos i spent too much time on my first round. Happily intriguing the kids with ghost stories. And man, i think they love me (yes, i KNOW im thickskinned) But hay, i have kids trailing and bugging me for ghost stories, ok?
"Ms Rae, could you please tell us the ghost story now?"
-man, that feels good, i dunno why?!
"Are you still studying in secondary school?"
- oh boy, this makes my day!
"Are you a foreigner?"
-heh, thanks for the compliment. its a weird complex. dont ask. hahahah
i feel uber high now, reminiscing about the past week.
And hee, it feels freaking good to have someone waiting for you after a day at the reserve. he actually waited for 2 hours! woah! aint i touched!
